A programmer's view on political broadcasting

This will not be a post about programming unfortunately, so I will keep this very short.

If you are a political figure and currently have a respectable following of people that listen to you, you should take heed. Noise does nothing but dilute the signal. The more noise, the less you can make out of the signal. When noise is filtered out so is a portion of the signal.

In case you have not figured it out yet, the signal is your political agenda. The noise is you blowing small issues out of proportion.
